Environmental film slate
Co-creator & Executive Producer
Pollen is currently spearheading a new environmental film slate to bring world-class storytelling that sparks change.
We are collaborating with an eclectic team of award-winning filmmakers, human-rights activists, movement-builders and environmental champions - including Oscar Nominated, Fernando Meirelles (City of God, The Constant Gardener, The Two Popes), Don Mullan (Bloody Sunday) & Sarah Macdonald (The Great Green Wall, Blue Carbon).
These are high-level cinematic feature-documentaries designed to provoke action to tackle the biggest environmental challenges of our times.
The films will be theatrically released on the international film festival circuit and broadcast across the globe on television/OTT platforms, as well as at universities, schools and grassroots screenings.

What if nature, like corporations, had the same legal rights as you and me? Around the world a quiet revolution is taking place. Law of the Land follows some of the most thought-provoking grassroots lawyers and Indigenous communities as they take the battle for the Rights of Nature into the courtrooms and onto the streets to give our planet its own give.

The Egyptians, the Mayan Empire, the Vikings... Many great civilisations of history have disappeared because of the deterioration of their soil. In today’s world, over 33% of our land is already degraded, and this is the main factor driving increased regional conflicts, global food shortages and mass intercontinental migration movements.
SOIL is an eye-opening feature documentary that uncovers the unknown and yet fascinating microscopic world that exists beneath our feet and at the same time, offers a revolutionary solution to the global, large-scale food production crisis we are currently facing.
If we continue to practice agriculture as we have done over the past 50 years, we will accelerate the process of soil degradation, contribute to global warming and push the world to an inevitable food supply crisis.

The ocean remains one of the last frontiers on earth. Largely undiscovered, poorly understood and too big to police, this wild and vast expanse of water is the scene of treacherous foul play, rampant criminality and exploitation. Governed by no clear international authority, our oceans represent the final battleground for control over the natural world and its resources.
OUTLAW OCEAN is a raw, unscripted docu-series that introduces viewers to the inhabitants of this hidden world and their risk-fraught lives. Traffickers and smugglers, wreck thieves and repo men, conservationists and elusive poachers all share stories of astonishing courage and brutality.
A high-stakes drama on the high seas meets a stunning expose, OUTLAW OCEAN shines a light on the disturbing reality of an ungoverned body of water that connects us all, a place where anyone can do anything because no one is watching.
